In all the time the 2.2d auto DPF has been around, I have replaced 1DPF for blocking. The car had over 120k miles on its back. I service many low mileage town used 2.2d with no DPF issues at all. Don't believe the hype. The 2.7d is not great, but 2.2d more or less bomb proof. R.
