in Cesky Krumlov was one of our best experiences in Czech Republic. Český Krumlov is very much like a miniature Prague. It’s nestled on the Vltava River and has a beautiful castle and spacious town square. It’s easy to get from Prague to Cesky Krumlov and there are so many things to do in Cesky Krumlov that it’s absolutely worth a visit.

Cesky Krumlov (properly written as Český Krumlov), a completely intact medieval town, huddles around a meander in the Vltava River in south Bohemia. Its dominant landmark is a huge castle – second largest in Czechia after Prague Castle – looming on a rocky height in the middle of the town.

Its well worth a visit. Cesky Krumlov is quite small--EVERYTHING is within walking distance from the center of the village. Pro tip: CK is jammed with day tripping tourists during the day, but is MUCH less crowded in the evening when the day-trippers leave, so it's worth your while to spend the night.
