SKYACTIV-G GASOLINE ENGINE. The Skyactiv-G 2.0 L and 2.5 L engines improve everyday driving by producing more low/mid-range torque with reduced carbon emissions. NOTE: There is no need to replace the oil filter, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 or SKYACTIV-G 2.0 (2012-13 Mazda3) oil strainer (including gasket), or oil pan. Over 5 degrees: 1) Replace the oil control valve (OCV). 2a) For SKYACTIV-G 2.5 or SKYACTIV-G 2.0 (2012-13 Mazda3), clean the bottom of the oil pan (with a clean cloth) and the oil strainer.

Here are dyno results on a Mazda 6 skyactiv 2.5 with a SRI and I believe 91 octane. It compares baseline with tune file 4: It shows a change from of 152 to 173 whp and 157 to 178 wtq which are gains of ~13-14% whp/wtq.

FYI Mazda sells it with 155bhp since 2020-> Also it was 155bhp earlier on Mazda 6 same engine. I've seen those tuned for 189bhp. Before the 3's were sold as 120bhp they pretty much all put 135-140 in a real world. With exhaust as biggest limiting factor, and with an intake kit I can easily guesstimate +200bhp results from that 2.0 Skyactiv G.
